40 original drum breaks shaped through 1960’s tube circuitry.

At the center of this pack is the unmistakable tone of the Telefunken U47 paired with Altec 1567A tube mixers and vintage Altec preamps, driven further through the UTA UnFairchild for weight, glue, and saturation. The result is drums that feel lived in. Warm, punchy, slightly gritty, and full of character.

We took a less is more approach with minimal mics and intentional decisions, inspired by the sound of early records. Think Berry Gordy era Motown. Feel over perfection. Space, movement, and imperfections that make each break instantly musical.
